Local 71 Bargaining Update: Ratification Meeting Dates Set!

Dear Local 71 members,

As you may be aware, after four days of conciliation, your Bargaining Committee has reached a tentative agreement with your Employer and are recommending acceptance.

Here are the dates for information/ratification meetings:

Sept 25 – Central Colchester Junior High School 6-8 pm

Sept 26 – Amherst Regional High School, Cafeteria 6-8 pm

Sept 27 – North Nova Education Centre, Presentation Centre 6-8 pm

We are preparing a document outlining all of the changes in the tentative agreement, which will be presented at the meetings. Chief Negotiator, Nicole McKim will be present at the meetings and there will be time for questions. Voting will occur at each of the three meetings.

Please note: expenses related to mileage, childcare, and/or eldercare are not covered for these meetings, as they are not official local meetings.
