Local 71 – CCRCE Membership Votes In Favour of Strike in Advance of Conciliation
Dear members of Local 71 at the CCRCE,
The results of the strike vote are in and members have voted overwhelmingly in support of their Bargaining Committee and in favour of a strike.
97% of those who voted, voted to strike.
This strong strike mandate will give the Bargaining Committee strength as they move into the next phase of negotiations – conciliation.
Your Bargaining Committee thanks you for your solidarity and support as they continue to work to negotiate a fair agreement with the Employer.
