Local 71 – Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education: Update on Retroactivity
Since the ratification of your collective agreement on April 11, your employer has failed to provide the union with a date of implementation for the new rates, or a date for retroactivity for the agreed economic increase of 3 percent.
This is totally unacceptable.
The union has contacted Chignecto Central Regional Centre for Education requesting that a reasonable timeline be put in place immediately.
The union shares your frustration by this unnecessary delay and is advocating on your behalf to get this resolved with a firm date for implementation and payment of retroactivity.
