Local 87 – Parkland at the Lakes – Tentative Agreement Reached

Your bargaining committee is pleased to report they have reached a tentative agreement with your employer and are recommending acceptance of the agreement to the membership.

We will be holding meetings this week to present the tentative agreement details and give members the chance to vote. The first meeting will be held this Thursday, November 21st at the NSGEU offices (255 John Savage Avenue) from 6 to 9 p.m. The second meeting will be held on Friday, November 22nd at between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Sobey’s on Baker Drive (please drop any time between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.) The vote will be counted on Friday at 5 p.m.

NSGEU President Joan Jessome, Chief Negotiator Grant Vaughan, Employee Relations Officer Lori Smith and your bargaining committee will all be in attendance to answer your questions at those times. We look forward to seeing you then!
