Local 92 Pension Vote – July 15, 2015 – noon to 4 p.m.

The following notice is for those Dalhousie Agricultural Campus Members hired After September 1, 2012 and before June 5, 2015

A vote is scheduled for:

Date:            July 15, 2015

Time:            12:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Location:      Dalhousie Agricultural Campus, Cox 43

Further to the information meeting held on June 24, 2015, a voting station is being set up for July 15, where you will vote to either remain as members of  the Public Service Superannuation Plan or, if a majority vote in favor, become members of the Dalhousie University Staff Pension Plan.

The language which was agreed upon between the Union and Dalhousie is as follows:

All Employees hired on or after September 1, 2012 and before Ratification and who participated in the PSSP shall remain in the PSSP unless the majority of such employees vote to become members of the Dalhousie University Staff Pension Plan within thirty (30) days of Ratification of this MOA is reached.  If employees vote to become members of the Dalhousie University Staff Pension Plan, it will be at a date to be determined by the Employer. 

You will be able to cast your ballot any time between 12:00 and 4:00 p.m.
