MEDIA RELEASE: Nova Scotia healthcare unions meet, commit to having lawyers work together on Dorsey decision
(Halifax) – The four unions affected by Bill 1 met Tuesday afternoon (January 20) and have directed their legal teams to begin the process of looking at the Dorsey arbitration ruling, with a goal of getting the best outcomes for the 24,000 health care members affected by the bill.
The unions have also agreed that they will not be commenting to the media on the process outlined above, up to and including the resumption of the hearings on February 2.
