NSAC/Dalhousie University Transition: Mediation Concludes, No Agreement
The Dalhousie Faculty Association (DFA), the NSGEU and the Dalhousie University administration (your employer) met November 8th and 12th in mediation conducted by the Labour Board with the goal of resolving all outstanding issues in regards to the transition of the faculty, the instructors and the other applicable members into the DFA bargaining unit.
No formal agreement has been reached yet.
The employer has committed to providing a formal response to the Labour Board, to the DFA and the NSGEU, but the union plans to request hearing dates as early as possible in the New Year in case they may become necessary.
