Media Release: Council of Health Care Unions get Strike Mandate
Today, the Nova Scotia Council of Health Care Unions announced that health care bargaining unit members who voted – voted 93% in support of a province-wide strike.
We thank all the members who participated in the vote.
The Council of Unions is under a media black out until members have the opportunity to vote on a proposed agreement with the Nova Scotia Health Authority and IWK.
The Nova Scotia Government and General Employees Union represents over 30,000 women and men who provide quality public services Nova Scotians count on every day.
