Reminder to all members of the Civil Service

We are holding three important telephone town hall meetings for all Civil Service members and encourage all members to attend one.

The purpose of these meetings is to discuss the tentative agreement reached by your Bargaining Committee and the ratification process.

We sent an update on Friday, November 13 with a link to the tentative agreement. We have also included it here.

Grant Vaughan, Director of Servicing and Negotiations, will take you through the highlights of the tentative agreement in the video below. The video is two (2) and a half minutes long.

Members of your Union Negotiating Committee including President Joan Jessome, Executive Director Robin MacLean, and Director of Negotiations and Servicing for Government and Education, Grant Vaughan, will be on the call to present the details of the tentative agreement and answer any concerns or questions you have have.

Participating in a telephone town hall meeting is easy. We will call you between 7:00 and 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24, Thursday, Nov. 26 and Monday, Nov. 30.

During the call, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and make comments by pressing *3.

The meeting call will last about 90 minutes, but you can leave at any time simply by hanging up. If you do not think we have a current phone number for you on file, please contact us by calling 902-424-4063 (toll-free 1-877-556-7438) to update your contact information.
