The Bargaining Committee is pleased to announce they have reached a tentative agreement with the employer and are recommending acceptance.
An information and ratification vote session will be held on Monday, February 25, from 4:30 – 6:00, Room SV-4, Church Point Campus
Highlights of the tentative agreement include:
- Wage increases of 1.75% retroactive to July 1, 2012, 1.5% beginning on July 1, 2013, and 2% on July 1, 2014
- Commencing January 1, 2013, there will be a decrease in pension contributions from Â 10.5% to 8.5% and an agreement to review on January 1, 2014
- A small increase in severance pay
- Various other language improvements
