Local 470 – Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation – Tentative Agreement Reached

The union is pleased to advise the membership that your Bargaining Committee has reached a tentative agreement with the Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation. The agreement was reached on February 15th after nine (9) days of negotiations.

Full details of the offer will be mailed to the membership within the next ten (10) days. Local 470 will be conducting a mail in ballot during the next few weeks. Local 470E will vote in their workplace at a time and location to be determined.

The agreement includes pay increases of 2% effective April 1, 2012, 2.5% effective April 1, 2013 and 3% April 1, 2014. The agreement includes a number of other improvements which will be detailed in the document you will be receiving from the union.

Your Bargaining Committee is recommending acceptance of the tentative agreement and thanks you for your support of the Committee’s efforts during this round of talks. The union also thanks the employer for respectful tone of these talks.
