Local 78B Stock Transportation, Bargaining Update

Dear members of Local 78B,

Your Bargaining Committee has now completed five days of negotiations with the Employer: March 28, June 20, June 21, December 6. and December 7, 2017. A tentative agreement has not yet been reached at the bargaining table. However, the Employer is fully engaged in negotiations about important contract changes so more bargaining dates have been planned for January 23rd and 24th 2018.

Your Bargaining Committee is working hard to resolve outstanding issues at the bargaining table and they remain optimistic that a tentative agreement will be reached in January that can be shown to the local at that time. The Committee thanks the local for their commitment and patience during these negotiations.
