 MEDIA RELEASE: Conciliator Calls Parties Back to the Table

The NSGEU and Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education (AVRCE) have received an invitation from the Conciliation Officer for Local 73 to return to the bargaining table this Friday. This does not mean the employer has a new offer to table.
The union has agreed to return to the table.
We remain hopeful that Local 70 (South Shore) will be called back, as well. In the meantime, strike actions will continue for both the Valley and South Shore.
