2018 NSGEU Member Bursaries & Dependent Scholarships

Time to apply for the NSGEU Member Bursaries and Dependent Scholarships!

Deadline: March 15, 2018

NSGEU believes in supporting members and their dependents who are continuing their education.

Bursaries: based on financial need

• Every year, NSGEU offers twenty-nine (29) Member Bursaries. Fourteen (14) with a March 15th deadline and fifteen (15) with an October 15 deadline.
• NSGEU also offers Fifteen (15) Members’ Dependent Bursaries in October (October 15th deadline).

Scholarships: based on scholastic achievement (marks), at the discretion of the NSGEU Education Committee

• The ten (10) Members Dependent Scholarships are split, five (5) in March (March 15th deadline) for students planning to attend their first year of post-secondary education and five (5) in October (October 15th deadline) for students planning to attend their second and subsequent years of post-secondary education.

Applications received after the March 15th date will not be included in the selection process.
