You are one of almost 24,000 health care workers who will be directly impacted by the expected passage of Bill 1 on Friday morning,
On Friday, October 3rd at 7:30 p.m., President Joan Jessome will be holding a virtual town hall to explain what this legislation means for your future working life, what our plan of action is, and how you can help.
Even though Bill 1 will pass into law on Friday, we want to assure you that this fight isn’t over.
Participating in a telephone town hall meeting is easy. We will call you between 7:30 and 7:35 p.m. Friday.During the meeting, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and make comments, just like on a radio call-in show. The meeting will last about an hour, but you can leave at any time simply by hanging up.
Please make every effort to participate on the call. Thank you and let’s talk on Friday.
