Health Care Strike Vote Information Session in Metro April 17 & 19
Dear Health Care Bargaining Unit members,
NSGEU President Jason MacLean and Chief Negotiator Shawn Fuller will host strike vote information sessions in the metro area to answer all your questions. The meetings will be held:
Today, Tuesday, April 17: 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at NSGEU Head Office, 255 John Savage Avenue.
Thursday, April 19: 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Dalhousie University, Tupper Building, 5850 College Street.
A STRIKE VOTE will take place between April 23 and April 30 for health care workers where you will be asked to answer the following question:
“Do you authorize the Health Care Council of Unions to conduct a strike to back your bargaining demands?”
YOUR VOTE is critically important. If you do not vote, it is effectively counted as a NO vote.
