Local 1995 – Cape Breton Regional Police Service Information Sessions & Ratification Vote
Dear members of Local 1995,
As you may be aware, your Bargaining Committee reached a tentative agreement with the Employer on February 8th and the Committee is recommending acceptance.
We have arranged for two information/ratification vote sessions as follows:
Date: Thursday, June 6, 2019
Times: 4:00 p.m & 7:30 p.m.
Place: NSGEU Office i850 Grand Lake Rd. Suite 15 (Classroom), Sydney
Copies of the tentative agreement will be available at the information sessions.
Your Chief Negotiator, Jim Gosse, and members of your Bargaining Committee will be on hand to discuss the tentative agreement and answer any questions you may have. The ratification vote will be held at each of the two sessions.
There will also be an update on the Long Term Disability Fund discussions from Corinne Carey, NSGEU Pension and Benefits Officer at each of the sessions.
