Local 97 – Registered Nurses at CDHA – Update on Vote

The passage of Bill 1 has suspended all collective bargaining and essential services negotiations until April 1st, 2015. The NSGEU wants to ensure the members of Local 97 are able to exercise their democratic right to vote to either accept or reject their employer’s final offer. Many members are concerned about their increments and retro pay if we do not settle your outstanding collective agreement before the new district health authority is formed and you are forced into the NSNU.

There will now be more opportunities for you to vote.

NSGEU office: 255 John Savage Avenue, Burnside

Thursday. October 9

Voting: anytime between 10:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.
