REMINDER: Emergency Meeting & Law Amendments
Tonight (Tuesday, September 30th) the NSGEU is hosting an emergency meeting for all health care workers and their supporters at the World Trade & Convention Centre (1800 Argyle Street, Room 100) starting at 7:30 p.m.
With Bill 1, this government is taking away the democratic right of workers who are affected by health care restructuring. We need to speak out and demand a vote! Please make every effort to attend.
The NSGEU is picketing the legislature all day today, so if you are able to stop by and show your support, please come by!
Also, you can sign up to speak out against this legislation at law amendments. Call 902-424-8941 and add your name to the speaker’s list. Keep in mind, this may be your only chance to speak to politicians publicly about this very important issue. (Please note: once you are done speaking to the committee, please leave the chamber to ensure there is room for others to enter and speak.
