Young Workers Meet and Greet

Dear member,

If you are 35 and under, the ad hoc Young Workers Committee (YWC) would like to invite you to attend an open house/meet and greet session at our Dartmouth or Truro office!

Come and share what you do at your work, learn more about how the NSGEU works for you, and help us learn what we can better do to support young workers like yourself.

We are hosting a drop-in session where you can stop by to connect with other workers from your area and chat with a committee member to learn more about the NSGEU. There will be trivia, prizes, snacks/refreshments, and a chance for one member to win a $25 gift card!

On March 22 between 12:00 and 3:00 p.m. we will be at the NSGEU Office, 120 Esplanade Street, Truro.

The Ad Hoc Young Workers Committee (YWC) is dedicated to creating awareness of the NSGEU, while encouraging young workers to become more active within the labour movement. With the support of experienced activists, the committee engages members between the ages of 18-35 in order to promote succession planning and bridge the generational gap within the NSGEU.
