Important: Update on Bill 1 Mediation and Telephone Town Halls Scheduled

What:  Telephone Town Hall meeting

When: Tuesday, November 18, 7:30 p.m. (site leaders & Local executive)

                Wednesday, November 19, 7:30 p.m. (all acute healthcare members)

Tonight (Tuesday, November 18), all Local executive members and site leaders are being invited to participate in a telephone town hall meeting, so we can update you on any further developments and answer your questions.

Tomorrow (Wednesday, November 19), we will hold a second telephone town hall meeting for all health care members, including Local executive and site leaders, who are affected by this legislation.

We apologize for the last-minute notice, but we were under a media blackout until 12:01 a.m. today, which meant we could not share any information with members until now.

Participating in a telephone town hall meeting is easy. We will call you between 7:30 and 7:35 p.m. Tuesday and/or Wednesday. During the meeting, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and make comments, just like on a radio call-in show. The meeting will last about an hour, but you can leave at any time simply by hanging up.
