Local 1995 – CB Regional Municipality Police Service Bargaining Update

Your Bargaining Committee met with your employer on Sept. 25, 26 & 28 to exchange proposals and bargain a new collective agreement on your behalf. Collective Bargaining was to resume on Oct. 3, but was cancelled at the request of the employer as they indicated they would require additional time to review and consider the union’s proposals.

Bargaining resumed on Oct. 4, 25 & 26. Some progress has been made; however, several significant proposals remain outstanding including overtime compensation, shift differential and wages.

We have agreed to meet again on Nov. 6.

The current collective agreement will expire on Dec. 31, 2023.
