Local 54 – Celtic Community Homes Inc Bargaining Update: Information Session and Ratification Vote

As you are aware, your bargaining committee reached a tentative agreement with your employer and is recommending acceptance of the agreement. Your committee members and NSGEU staff again wish to thank the members of Local 54 for their support throughout the process.

This is the update for the location of the information sessions and ratification vote.

Date: Tuesday August 11, 2026
Time: 7pm – 9pm
Where: Royal Canadian Legion Branch 59, 75 St Ninian St, Antigonish

If you are a member of local 54, you can request a copy of the tentative agreement by emailing inquiry@nsgeu.ca

Members of your bargaining committee and NSGEU staff will be in attendance to answer any questions you have. Please make every effort to attend the information/ratification vote session, as this will be your opportunity to vote on your tentative agreement. For greater clarification you can drop in at any point throughout the above time periods.
