Local 70 South Shore Regional Centre for Education Compensation Alignment Process Update
As you are aware, during the last round of bargaining the Employer and Union agreed to enter into a compensation alignment process for support staff working within your Centre for Education. The process will align classifications to the highest classification rate from a total compensation perspective, in the Province.
Recently, a number of classifications have been agreed to, and the Parties have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). Once we receive the wage scales, we will communicate the outcome to date with the membership. We have one classification left to reach agreement on in order to complete the process.
We appreciate your continued patience as we work through this process. If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to us by calling 902-424-4063 (toll-free 1-877-556-7438) or emailing inquiry@nsgeu.ca. Thank you!
