Local 99 Dalhousie Operational Support: Update on Adjustment of Rates and Retroactivity

The Union has received a response to President Mullen’s November 9th letter to Dr. Brooks requesting that Dalhousie prioritize a timeline for you to receive your negotiated wage increases and retroactivity. The Employer will be communicating with you today to advise that the rates will be adjusted as of December 1st, 2023 and the largest portion of the retro activity will be provided on December 15th, 2023.

Although this situation has taken longer than hoped for, the NSGEU is relieved that progress has been made on your behalf. The Union’s expectation is that the specific details will be provided by the Employer.
