Celebrate Labour Day with NSGEU – Monday, Sept. 7

Come out and join local union members, families and friends to celebrate Labour Day on Monday in the following locations. Solidarity! and Fun!

  • Sydney (Cape Breton): 12:00 pm – Open Hearth Park, Sydney
  • Amherst: 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm – Dickie Park – BBQ
  • Halifax: Rally at 11:00 am – Labour Board offices at 1601 Lower Water Street. March starts at 11:30 am to Peace and Friendship Park (on Hollis in front of the Westin Hotel) for food, entertainment, and family activities. 
  • Liverpool (South Shore): 11:30 am – 2:00 pm – Privateer Park – BBQ
  • Kentville (Annapolis Valley): 11:00 am – 2:00 pm – Memorial Park – BBQ

We hope to see you there!

Thank you to all those volunteers and members who make these family fun Labour Day activities happen. Including all the local Labour Councils, our NSGEU Locals, the larger union community, and the Nova Scotia Federation of Labour.

Please note NSGEU offices will be closed on Labour Day.
