Local Triennial Meetings: Message for Local Presidents

With NSGEU Convention around the corner, the time has come for Local Presidents to schedule their Local Triennial meetings to hold elections for the upcoming 2025 – 2028 term.

The NSGEU Constitution and By-Laws states:

Section B3 – Local Triennial Meeting
B3.1  Following the conclusion of the Convention of the Union, the Triennial meeting of the local shall be held prior to the end of the next calendar month.
B3.8  The Secretary shall give at least seven (7) days notice of a Triennial or special meeting to the Local members.

Please schedule your local meeting and advise the NSGEU via email at bookings@nsgeu.ca of the date, time, and location of the meeting no later than May 16, 2025.

Next week, the NSGEU will be sending out Triennial Election Readiness Packages to all Local Presidents. This package includes many helpful items to assist with elections.
