Virtual Webinar: International Women’s Day

The Women’s Issues Committee will be hosting a Webinar for International Women’s Day. Nik Basset (they/them) will be the guest speaker doing a 30-40 minute presentation on how we can better understand gender and how to respectfully navigate gender issues.
Everyone is welcome to participate.

Nik Basset (they/them) is the Education & GSA Coordinator for the Youth Project Halifax. Nik is responsible for organizing workshops in schools and workplaces across the province, building and maintaining relationships with potential partners, developing curriculum and resources, consulting with organizations for implementing inclusion policies, and preparing and facilitating workshops.
Please note: this webinar is being presented on a strictly voluntary basis, therefore time off will not be reimbursed for this event.
