Young Workers Meet & Greet

If you are 35 and under, the ad hoc Young Workers Committee (YWC) would like to invite you to attend an open house/event in Membertou!

Come and share what you do at your work, learn more about how the NSGEU works for you, and help us learn what we can better do to support young workers like yourself.

We are hosting a drop-in session where you can stop by to connect with other workers from your area and chat with a committee member to learn more about the NSGEU. There will be bowling and prizes, snacks, refreshments, & a chance for a member to win a $25 gift card!

On April 6 between 2:00 – 4:00pm, we will be at Lanes at Membertou for a bowling event/meet & greet (185 Towerview Place, Membertou, NS)

(Please note: Bowling lanes are limited, so there may be a wait if all spots are full upon your arrival!)

The Ad Hoc Young Workers Committee (YWC) is dedicated to creating awareness of the NSGEU, while encouraging young workers to become more active within the labour movement. With the support of experienced activists, the committee engages members between the ages of 18-35 in order to promote succession planning and bridge the generational gap within the NSGEU.
