Investment in the public service keeps our communities and our economy strong.

The government is beginning a round of public consultations on their next budget which is likely to be released in April.

The nest session is being held on Thursday, February 5, 2015 in Bridgewater:

Thursday, February 5 at the Days Inn, 50 North Street, Bridgewater.

Information sessions begin at 6 pm and table discussions from 7-9 pm

We encourage NSGEU members to attend this meeting if they live in the Bridgewater area. Tell the government representatives at the meeting about the important work you do for Nova Scotians every day. Let them know the value of the services you provide.
You can also point out that public employees pay taxes and spend their money locally which supports the private sector in communities across the province. Investing in a strong public service supports the private sector and a healthy economy.
