Townhall Meeting: Discussion of The Future of Home Care, Tuesday June 16, 2015
Townhall Meeting:
The Future of Home Care
Date & Time: Tuesday, June 16th, 6:30 p.m.
Location: Kingston Lions’ Club, 14282 Veterans’ Lane, Kingston
The Nova Scotia Citizen’s Health Care Network has hosted a series of public town hall meetings on “The Future of Home Care: People or Profit?” over the past few months. The next meeting will be held in Kingston on Tuesday, June 16th.
The provincial government plans to open home care to competitive bidding. Come share your experience with home care, and find out how these changes will impact patients, caregivers and health workers.
We’d like to encourage all members – not just home care workers – to attend, especially those who have loved ones in receipt of home support services.
