Alternative to 811 for Health Care Employees for Long Term Care and Home Care
Dear Members,
The Department of Health and Wellness has established an alternate phone line for members working in Long Term Care and Home Care to ensure they are virus-free and able to safely provide care, reducing the demand on 811.
Home-care and long-term care providers can access this line. This line can be used as an alternative to calling 811 for assessments. This screening aligns with that of 811 and includes booking of appointments at screening centers as required.
Access the screening service by calling: 1-833-547-0059
Please note that the alternate assessment line is intended for screening purposes only.
The number above is dedicated to long term care, home support, and community based pharmacy.
Please share with your co-workers.
