Good afternoon,
At the end of day on Friday, the Conciliation Officer assigned to healthcare bargaining informed the Council of Unions he had received a phone call saying that the Provincial government and the employers (NSH and IWK) wanted to return to the bargaining table on Monday morning.
The Council of Unions bargaining committee have agreed to return to the table, but our plans to hold a strike vote will still proceed. We will update you at the conclusion of the discussion on Monday.
Please keep an eye on your email Monday for further information.
