Local 23 IWK – Voting and Information Session Scheduled

As was previously reported, your bargaining committee is pleased to advise that on April 15th, 2013, a tentative agreement was reached between the union and the IWK.

Your bargaining committee is recommending acceptance of the tentative agreement which provides for wage increases of 2%, 2.5% and 3% over a three-year period, as well as a number of other improvements.

A package containing full details of the tentative agreement will be sent out early next week. Information sessions and voting will be held on Monday, May 6th, 2013 in the IWK Health Centre’s PEI Room at 7 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 4 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and bargaining committee members will be available all day between 7 a.m.  and 7 p.m. for members to vote or ask questions.
