Local 37 – Special Meeting: Monday, 9-Feb-2015

Joan Jessome, NSGEU President, will be hosting a meeting with Guysborough County Home Support. The meeting is to discuss the government’s recent move to have a procurement consultant make recommendations regarding tendering for home care services across the province.

The tendering process may mean the privatization of home support services if private-for-profit companies win the bid.
