Local 61 Canadian Association of Community Living, Antigonish Branch Tentative Agreement Reached

Your bargaining committee is pleased to advise that on Wednesday, November 27th, a tentative agreement was reached between the union and your employer.

Your bargaining committee is recommending acceptance of the tentative agreement and the details will be presented and explained during the meeting outlined below.

The employer has agreed to allow staff scheduled to work on this date to take time away from work so they can attend the information session and vote. Before leaving your place of employment, you must get prior approval from your immediate supervisor.

The union will be holding an information session and vote on the employer’s final offer on Monday, December 2nd from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Claymore Inn, Antigonish (137 Church Street).

Please note that voting will take place during the information session and this will be your only opportunity to vote.
