Local 97 – CDHA Nurses, Meetings With Managers
Good afternoon,
It has come to our attention that a number of Registered Nurses have been called into investigative meetings with their managers at Capital Health, in relation to the job action that took place during the first week of April.
It is very disappointing that this employer is choosing to waste precious healthcare resources by investigating and harassing workers who chose to stand up and protest against Bill 37. It is even more worrisome that this government is condoning the employer’s misguided management of valuable healthcare resources.
The NSGEU is providing staff to accompany nurses to these meetings. If you are called into one of these meetings with your manager, please ensure you have someone from the NSGEU with you. You can email inquiry@nsgeu.ca or call 424-4063.
Remember, we are in this together! We are standing up for patient safety as one.
In solidarity,
Joan Jessome President, NSGEU
