October 20th- 26th is National Healthcare Facilities and Engineering Week
Health care support workers can be found throughout our health care system. The NSGEU wants to celebrate our health care support workers who are holding our tenuous health care infrastructure together every day. These workers maintain and repair our health care infrastructure and ensure the vital pieces of sensitive health care equipment are ready when Nova Scotians need our health system.
While much of your work is done behind the scenes, we thank you for the work you do. As your union, we will fight any and all attempts by your employer or government to hand over the services you provide to the private sector.
Your work is absolutely vital to the day-to-day quality of health care for all.
Thank you.
