Registered Nurses: Report Your Safety Concerns
Nurses are worried about the level of care they are able to give patients. Your employer and this government are not interested in listening to your concerns. But we are.
The union is in the process of collecting safety complaints and concerns. We are planning to use this information to help develop an essential services arrangement with Capital Health, and to advocate for patient safety improvements on your behalf.
If you are a nurse who works at Capital Health, and you have a concern about an incident, staffing levels, or the failure to replace sick calls on your unit, please email patientsafety@nsgeu.ca with your name, floor number and phone number, as well as your manager’s name, and a union representative will get back to you as soon as possible! Please do not include private patient information. If you prefer, you can also call 424-2047 and leave a message.
Thank you for making patient safety a priority!
