LPN Classification Decision Delayed
On Monday, the arbitrator assigned to the LPN reclassification process informed our legal counsel that his decision will not be ready until September. He provided no rationale for the delay.
We understand this is frustrating for the members who have been waiting so long for an outcome on this important issue. We share your frustrations, and will advise you as soon as we have more news.
At this point, we do not believe it would be advantageous to push the arbitrator to make a decision sooner, as it could have a negative effect on the outcome.
We appreciate your ongoing patience as this difficult process unfolds. Click here for background on this issue.
