Local 87 – Parkland At The Lakes Bargaining Update

Dear Local 87 members,

Your bargaining committee exchanged proposals with your employer on Wednesday, November 21st, and continued negotiations on Thursday, November 22nd. Negotiations were cordial and we were able to come to agreement on several non-monetary items.

We meet with the employer again on January 22, 2019.

Copies of the bargaining proposals are being mailed out to all members with an address on file with us. If you have moved since signing your union card and have not advised the union of your address change, please do so by contacting us by calling 1-877-556-7438 or 902-424-4063 or emailing inquiry@nsgeu.ca.

There will be a Local meeting scheduled before we meet with your employer again. Your bargaining committee members will be in attendance at this local meeting and we encourage all members to attend so that we may gain some additional feedback on your demands.
