Protect Our Public Services Rally at the Legislature – Thurs. March 26, 12-2 pm
You may have heard about the devastating cuts government has made to provincial park and visitor information centre staff along with child welfare services.
To add to this, on March 12, government announced their intentions to privatize three registries within Service Nova Scotia: Nova Scotia Land Registry; Registry of Motor Vehicles; and the Registry of Joint Stock Companies.
It is time to let the government know that cuts and privatization of public services hurt people and communities and will only make things worse for Nova Scotia.
We are asking all Metro members to make an effort during lunch to attend a rally at the legislature.
Place: Nova Scotia Legislature (Hollis and Prince St. in Halifax)

Time: 12 – 2pm
