School Support Strike: One Year Later
One year ago today, members of the NSGEU who work in the South Shore Regional Centre for Education and the Annapolis Valley Centre for Education came together to stand up for better wages and working conditions. Here is a video that highlights moments from that strike: https://youtu.be/HLww-NJFfRE
The NSGEU celebrates you and your hard work today as we remember this fight and the new collective agreements you achieved.
While significant progress has been made with the compensation review, the NSGEU continues the fight to ensure you get the money you are owed in a timely manner.
Your strength and solidarity showed other workers across Nova Scotia what can be gained when you stand together and fight for what is right.
