You’re Invited: Celebrate International Workers Day in Halifax!
What: | May Day Rally – Speak Out about Liberal Cuts and Privatization! |
Where: | Grand Parade, downtown Halifax |
When: | Friday, May 1st, 5:30 p.m. |
This Friday, May 1st, we are calling on all NSGEU members to come out and join a May Day rally being held in downtown Halifax.
NSGEU members have been directly targeted by the Liberal government: they’ve tried to legislate away the rights of our health care and post-secondary workers, and are threatening to privatize many important public services, including tourism, land registries and home support.
We are all affected by these attacks.
Please, help us send a message to this government that they need to respect their frontline workers.
The rally starts at 5:30 p.m. at Grand Parade and will go until 7 p.m. Bring a friend, coworker or family member – we hope to see you there!
