Local 78B Bargaining Update: Tentative Agreement Reached

As you know, the union had filed for conciliation. Your bargaining committee and your employer met yesterday (Monday, March 11th) with the Conciliator, and as a result of this process, we are pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative agreement with your employer which your committee is recommending for acceptance.

An information session and Vote will be held Wednesday March 27^th at NSGEU (255 John Savage Avenue, Dartmouth) between 6 pm and 9pm. The information session will begin at 6pm and then a vote will take place thereafter.

Your bargaining committee and Lead Negotiator will be in attendance to provide the details of the tentative agreement and answer any questions you may have. A highlighted document will be provided at the time of the meeting. This vote will be to either accept the tentative agreement or turn down the tentative agreement and proceed to strike. Please note: you MUST be in person to cast your vote and be a signed member with NSGEU. This will be your only opportunity to cast your ballot, so please make every effort to attend.
