NSGEU LOCAL 93/94/95 – Join us for an important telephone town hall meeting this Thursday!

The provincial government is planning to restructure the District Health Authorities soon. This process will affect each and every one of us, but especially those who work directly in the healthcare system.

This Thursday, May 29, starting at 7:30 p.m., the NSGEU will be holding an important telephone town hall meeting for all members of Public Health, Addictions and Continuing Care. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss with you the anticipated changes and challenges we will face together as a union due to the government’s planned restructuring of the District Health Authorities.

NSGEU President Joan Jessome will be hosting the call, and she will be joined by NSGEU’s Directors of Negotiations & Servicing.

Participating in a telephone town hall meeting is easy. We will call you between 7:30 and 7:35 p.m. on Thursday. During the meeting, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and make comments, just like on a radio call-in show. The meeting will last about an hour, but you can leave at any time simply by hanging up.

Please make every effort to participate, as this is a matter of vital importance for all of us.
