Bargaining Update: Local 22 – Emergency Medical Care Inc. – Registered Nurses

Thank you to Local 22 members who reached out to your union to notify us that non-unionized nurses who work for your employer have received a wage increase. The union reached out to your employer regarding this matter and to inquire if they would apply the same increase to Local 22 members without prejudice to the bargaining process. Your employer responded that they are unable to agree to provide a wage increase outside of collective bargaining.

Your Bargaining Committee remains committed to achieving a fair, first Collective Agreement for your local, and is working hard during this current round of negotiations. Additional bargaining dates are scheduled for October 1, 2, 3, 7, 8, and 9. A bargaining update will follow these dates.
