Local 53 – Halifax Regional Centre for Education: Bargaining Update

Your bargaining committee met with the Employer on Wednesday, November 15th in efforts to reach a tentative agreement. Although progress continues, a number of monetary proposals, including wages remain outstanding. While the Employer awaits approval from the Department of Education. We have scheduled another bargaining date for December 6, 2023, where we are hopeful that a agreement can be reached on all outstanding items.
