Local 67 – Veith House Tentative Agreement Ratified

Your local has voted in favour of the tentative agreement negotiated with your employer, with 55 per cent of members voting to ratify.

During the ratification meetings, several members voiced concerns regarding classifications and rates of pay. You have been heard, and the union will continue working to improve these conditions. We look forward to you continuing to engage at local meetings and other opportunities in the future.

Your bargaining committee thanks you for your support and solidarity during this round of negotiations. The union and your employer will now draft a new collective agreement and then have it reviewed by each side. Once agreed to and signed by the parties, we will advise you.
