Local 74 – Tri-County Regional Centre for Education Bargaining Update

Last night, we held a town hall meeting to provide you with a Bargaining update. We reviewed the results of the last ratification vote, informed you that we had not been called back to the table by then employer or received any other offers. We also briefly discussed the offers presented to Local 70 and 73 and gave an overview of Local 70 and L73 bargaining.

The union, in discussion with your bargaining committee, has decided not give notice of STRIKE at this time. We will HOLD and wait see if the employer will provide us with an updated offer next week.

Following your townhall meeting, the union met with Local 73 AVRCE members in a townhall session where it was decided to begin their STRIKE action on Monday, October 24th, 2022.
